IMPORTANT SECURITY NOTICE DO NOT SHARE ANY CONFIDENTIAL GOVERNMENT INFORMATION ON FAUJIRISHTA. FaujiRishta is a social connect platform for ex-servicemen. It is not an official Government of India application and is not a substitute for official Government communication or Government systems. You must not upload, publish, transmit, discuss or share confidential, classified, restricted or otherwise sensitive Government/Defence information, documents, photographs, operational information, locations or material. 1. About FaujiRishta FaujiRishta is a social connect platform for ex-servicemen and the defence community in India, operated by Redshift Enterprises. It is not an official Government of India service unless separately authorised and stated. 2. Eligibility and your account You must be at least 18 years old. Provide accurate information and keep your password and verification codes confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use. 3. Prohibited information You must not share on FaujiRishta, in any form (posts, listings, messages, photos, documents or comments): - classified, restricted or operational information; - military deployment or movement information; - sensitive defence locations or installations; - military or official passwords, credentials or authentication material; - restricted Government documents or confidential correspondence; - sensitive operational photographs; - any information whose disclosure is prohibited by law or official rules. When in doubt, do not post or share the information. We may remove such content immediately and suspend accounts, and may be required to report it to the appropriate authorities. 4. Community conduct Respect other members. Harassment, impersonation, fraud, hate speech, unlawful content and misuse of other members' personal information are not permitted. Content that you publish (listings, job posts and similar) is reviewed before it becomes visible and may be removed if it breaches these Terms or the Community Guidelines. 5. Veteran verification You may choose to verify your service status. We retain only the minimum details needed and delete your uploaded proof document once it has been reviewed. 6. Marketplace, jobs and other services FaujiRishta helps members connect. Unless a module states otherwise, transactions between members (for example, buying an item or accepting a job) are between those members. Exercise care, meet in safe places and never share OTPs or banking credentials. 7. Payments Payments are confirmed only after verification by FaujiRishta. Do not rely on a payment being complete until the app shows it as confirmed. Fees and applicable taxes are shown before you pay. 8. Privacy Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can review consents, download your data or request deletion under Settings > Privacy. 9. Grievances You can raise a grievance in the app under Help & Support. We acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days. Grievance officer details are shown in the app. 10. Suspension and termination We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, create risk for other members, or where required by law. You may delete your account at any time. 11. Changes We may update these Terms. When we make a material change you will be asked to review and accept the new version before continuing to use FaujiRishta. You are also asked to accept the Terms each time you log in. 12. Governing law These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
